►03: What are the requirements for a Part-66 licence?

There are no specific requirements to get a Part-66 licence. You need to prove your skills by taking the required exams (18 modules) as stated in the Part-66 regulation. For further information, please take a look at the EASA website www.easa.eu.int. We are not approved for basic training.

►04: When and how do I get my certificate?

The certificate is sent by certified mail upon payment of the tuition fees.

►05: Do you offer basic training courses?

No, we are not approved for basic training.

►06: What are the prices for a training?

Training costs depend on the aircraft type and on the type of training (theoretical/practical) you attend. However, we will take into consideration your individual situation as well as your personal needs and wishes. For additional information please contact technicaltraining@airberlin.com.

►07: When do the next courses begin?

Several courses are planned to start throughout the year. Please see our open courses for dates and locations.

►08: What is the maximum number of participants for each course?

Our limit for a theoretical course is 18 trainees. For a practical course our limit is 4-6 participants per instructor.

►09: In what languages are the courses held?

All our courses are available in German or English depending on the training participants. Our Q400 courses are usually taught in English. The course documentation and exams will be in English as well.
