Facilities

airberlin technik’s maintenance facilities include two maintenance hangars in Dusseldorf (10,000sqm and approximately 19,000sqm), one hangar in Munich (12,000sqm), Berlin-Tegel (4,000sqm), Paderborn (4,000sqm), Münster (3,000sqm) and Nuremberg (2,000sqm).

All our facilities are located in the heart of Europe, which allows flexibility in planning and performing maintenance. Our facilities are equipped with docking systems for Airbus and Boeing aircraft, which allow access to all relevant aircraft areas. Test and ground equipment are also available, based upon the manufacturer’s recommendations and our experience.
