The 3rd German Part 147 Maintenance Training Organization meeting was hold in Hamburg at LTT on April 13, 2010.
The different working groups reported on the following subjects: elearning, dual apprenticeship versus EASA Part66, Practical Training and Assessment,
qualifications of instructors and assessors. A new working group was founded on the topic of Basic Training Standardization.
The dialogue with the LBA and between the members is very intensive as there are a lot of changes to regulations through EASA.

The German elearning working group had its 1st meeting on May 7 in Munich at airberlin technical training. The result of it was confirmed by the acceptance of the 1st elarning typerating in the following week by the Authorities of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The rules and conditions under which an elearning typerating can be conducted were established by these NAAs. Aero Bildung will write an outline for the AMC.

The EAMTC elearning working group also works on an outline for the AMC regarding elearning. Please refer to www.eamtc.org

The next meeting will be in September in Hamburg at LTT, before the working group presents their result on the EAMTC Meeting in Luzern on Oct 5-6,
which is hosted by SRT.
